
Have a favorite stamp? You can vote to bring it back
A new contest allows participants to choose from 25 options
The Postal Service is introducing Stamp Encore, a contest that lets the public vote to bring back a favorite stamp from the past for reprinting in 2026.
USPS employees may participate in the contest, which is part of the Postal Service’s 250th anniversary celebration.
The contest will run from Wednesday, July 23, through Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Participants can vote online at the Stamps Forever website or by printing a paper ballot and mailing it in. The website has more information, including a list of frequently asked questions.
Participants can vote as often as they wish.
The Postal Service has selected 25 stamp releases for participants to choose from:

USPS plans to announce the winning stamp at the Boston 2026 World Expo, an international philatelic exhibition, in May.

The ‘Mailin’ It!’ podcast explores the history of the Postal Service
The latest episode of “Mailin’ It,” the USPS podcast, focuses on the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Postal Service.
The guest is Jim Bruns, the president of the National Navy Museum Foundation and a former director of the National Postal Museum.
The 33-minute episode, released July 22, is available on Link and other postal websites, as well as most podcast platforms.

Here’s a look at recent USPS announcements
• Debra A. Bogertey was named an election and government mail program specialist. She previously served as South Carolina District’s customer relations manager.
• Mary Cocking, New England Division’s logistics operations support manager, was named the division’s acting logistics director.
• Matthew J. Connelly was named election and government mail programs manager. He previously served as New Orleans postmaster.
• Bradley J. McCullough, package sorting technology manager, was named acting technology development and applications senior director. Zachary A. Payton, technology programs principal, was named acting package sorting technology manager.
• Tony L. Pegram was named the Fargo, ND, Processing and Distribution Facility’s plant manager. He previously served as the Cedar Rapids, IA, Processing and Distribution Center’s plant manager.
• Michael L. Smith, a supply chain planner, was named acting asset management and planning manager.

‘Microsoft Teams — Navigating Teams, Channels and Files’
USPS Executive and Administrative Schedule and Postal Career Executive Service employees may participate in an upcoming online lunch-and-learn session about setting up channels, managing files and using version history in Microsoft Teams.
The one-hour session, “Microsoft Teams — Navigating Teams, Channels and Files,” will be held Wednesday, July 30, at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Participants must register before the event on the webinar website. Space is limited.

‘At Home and Anywhere: Best Exercises’
Postal Service employees may participate in an upcoming webinar to learn how to move properly during the workday and perform common movement exercises.
The session, “At Home and Anywhere: Best Exercises and Fitness Demonstration,” will be held Wednesday, July 30, from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern.
Representatives from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, a provider of health plans for federal employees, will lead the discussion.
Participants must register before the event on the webinar website.
Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees must participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
