Mail Condition Visualization (MCV) is now the Postal Service’s official system of record for mail processing conditions.
MCV, an Informed Visibility module, generates near-real-time visibility of a facility’s mail conditions. The system lists mailpieces and mail containers by processing operation, shape and category while storing historical data.
Employees are using MCV to view near-real-time mail conditions. Additionally, users are providing important feedback about system performance and identifying possible enhancements, allowing for the continuous improvement of MCV.
Information on MCV is available online to Informed Visibility users and will be frequently updated. This information includes program status updates, business rules and upcoming releases, as well as a brief tutorial on how to use the system.
To access this information, go to the Informed Visibility site and select the “Report Notes” icon in the top right-hand corner. To access Informed Visibility, submit a request through eAccess. You’ll need your supervisor’s approval.
MCV is part of the Postal Service’s broader efforts to innovate, a core strategy, and move toward more streamlined, efficient processes.
