CFC recognition. The USPS Engineering Systems team was recently recognized for its creative efforts to raise funds during the latest Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) cycle.
The team used posters to highlight different causes, including one that focused on supporting veterans.
The Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area selected the poster as the winner in the best poster/display category during a March CFC awards ceremony in Washington, DC.
Sara Schnittger, automation equipment and engineering systems manager, served as the team’s CFC chair.
“Our story was simple — veterans matter and we can sincerely thank them for their service by donating to a charity that can aid with housing, training and health care,” she said.
Postal Service employees pledged $6.7 million during the most recent CFC cycle, the highest amount of any single federal agency.
