Benefits enrollment period ends Dec. 11

USPS employees can change their health coverage or enroll in a new plan during open season.

Postal Service employes who want to change their health coverage or enroll in a new plan must act now.

Open season, the annual period when USPS employees can make benefits changes, ends Dec. 11 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern time.

This is the last chance most employees will have until next November to consider new health, vision, dental or flexible spending options.

Employees can choose from a variety of health, vision and dental coverage through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program and flexible spending accounts.

Eligible noncareer employees can choose the USPS Health Benefits Plan.

The Open Season LiteBlue page has information and resources, including FAQs, educational videos and a link to a health plan comparison tool from Checkbook’s Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees.
