Here’s a closer look at this year’s stamp lineup

The new video takes viewers behind the scenes

The Postal Service has released a video that highlights this year’s stamp lineup.

The three-minute video explains how stamp subjects are selected and stamp images are created.

Those interviewed include Postmaster General Louis DeJoy; Lisa Bobb-Semple, stamp services director; Antonio Alcalá, an art director for USPS; and Gail Anderson, a member of the Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee, the panel that makes stamp recommendations.

The video was recently posted on USPS websites.

‘USPS Retirement Health Benefits’

Postal Service employees may participate in an upcoming webinar that will address benefits available after retirement.

The session, “USPS Retirement Health Benefits: Medicare, Dental and Vision,” will be held Wednesday, May 15, from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern.

Representatives from Aetna, a provider of health plans for federal employees, will lead the discussion.

Participants must register before the event on the webinar website.

Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees must be off the clock or on authorized breaks.

Employees who have questions can email the Benefits and Wellness team.

Ansel Adams stamp ceremony

The Postal Service will dedicate its Ansel Adams stamps on Wednesday, May 15, in Yosemite National Park in California.

The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Pacific at the Ansel Adams Gallery, located at 9031 Village Dr.

The speakers will include Daniel Tangherlini, a member of the USPS Board of Governors.

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP online.
