USPS will showcase Everglades National Park on this year’s sixth park stamp.
The stamp image, unveiled April 11, shows the sun setting among pine trees and grasses in the park, which spans the South Florida peninsula and covers 1.5 million acres.
The stamp will be one of 16 on a pane that commemorates the National Park Service’s upcoming 100th anniversary. USPS is revealing the stamp images throughout April.
Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Bandelier National Monument, Assateague Island National Seashore, Arches National Park and Acadia National Park images have been released so far.
The Postal Service will dedicate the pane June 2 at the World Stamp Show in New York City.
Individuals are asked to spread the news on social media using the hashtags #NPSStamps, #FindYourPark and #NPS100.
