Matt Connelly has been named the Postal Service’s chief solutions and strategy officer, leading an organization that will maintain and expand service oversight and control by streamlining and enhancing network planning, decision-making and execution.
This organization was established under the prior chief performance officer to ensure alignment across operations, sales and marketing.
Connelly has been in the transportation and supply chain industry for 40 years, including a 32-year career at United Parcel Service.
Greg White will report to Connelly as the new vice president of network solutions and performance excellence.
White started with the Postal Service as an industrial engineer in 2015, gaining experience in retail and delivery, processing and distribution, and logistics. Most recently, he served as the executive director of operations integration and performance excellence.
Connelly also will oversee integrated operations and planning, performance and field operations support, and continuity and preparedness.
