More to give?

CFC is in its final stretch

There is still time to give to the 2023 Combined Federal Campaign and the many causes it supports, such as providing emergency shelters for those without a place to live.

USPS employees, retirees and contractors can still donate to this year’s Combined Federal Campaign before it ends Jan. 15.

Also known as the CFC, the campaign is the federal government’s workplace charity drive, one of the largest such efforts in the world.

USPS employees have pledged $1.7 million so far during this year’s campaign. The goal for the Postal Service is $5 million. Postal employees have also pledged 1,179 volunteer hours this year.

Participants can sign up, search for, and donate to the campaign’s nearly 5,000 charities through the CFC website or the CFC Giving mobile app.

Paper pledge forms are also available for those who prefer not to donate electronically.

The CFC has raised nearly $8.7 billion for its many causes since it was established by President John F. Kennedy in 1961.

The Postal Service is regularly among its top 10 contributors.
