USPS Ground Advantage

Grace period for mailers ends Oct. 31

The grace period for commercial and retail mailers to switch to USPS Ground Advantage labeling requirements is coming to an end.

The grace period for USPS Ground Advantage, the Postal Service’s new shipping product, is ending Oct. 31.

When USPS Ground Advantage was launched on July 9, retail and commercial mailers were given until Sept. 30 to comply with the new product’s labeling requirements. The deadline was then extended to Oct. 31.

Packages with markings for the discontinued USPS Parcel Select Ground service, USPS Retail Ground service and USPS First-Class Package Service will not be refused after Oct. 31, but noncompliance fees may be assessed.
