Business Connect change, delivery data also highlighted

WestPac was the area leader in scanning during the week ending April 14, while ID-MT-OR finished first among the districts.

Business Connect sales leads: Beginning April 21, Postal Service employees who use the Business Connect portal will have an easier way to submit information for the LEADing Together sales leads program.

After entering Business Connect activity into the portal, employees can click on the “Create New Lead” button, which transfers the entered information to the LEADing Together portal.

Employees then only have to add the customer’s contact name and phone number.

Scanning snapshot: A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 97.20 percent during the week ending April 14, down 0.02 percent from one week earlier.

The data was collected April 19.

WestPac led the four areas with a rating of 97.38 percent, while Atlantic ranked last with a 97.03 percent rating.

Among the 50 districts, ID-MT-OR, part of WestPac Area, ranked first with a 98.21 percent rating, while Illinois 1, part of Central Area, ranked last with a 94.88 percent rating.

Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.

To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.

Delivery data. From April 1 through April 7, the Postal Service delivered 92.1 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.

During the same period, USPS delivered 96.1 percent of Marketing Mail and 88.3 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.
