Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s nation scanning rating was 97.07 percent during the week ending May 22, up from 97.01 percent one week earlier.
Western topped the seven areas with a rating of 97.54 percent, while Dakotas led the 67 districts with a 98.82 percent rating.
The only area that gained ground during the week was No. 6-ranked Pacific, where the rating was 96.81 percent, up 0.31 percent from one week earlier. Twelve districts beat their previous scores, led by No. 66-ranked Los Angeles, where the rating was 94.62 percent, a 2.75 percent improvement.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
