More stamp release dates announced

USPS has announced release dates for, clockwise from top left, the Fruits & Vegetables, Ruth Asawa, Hip Hop, Enjoy the Great Outdoors, Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor, 19th Amendment: Women Vote, and Thank You stamps.

The Postal Service has announced more release dates for stamps on its 2020 roster.

Here are the dates, along with the locations where dedication ceremonies are planned:

  • Enjoy the Great Outdoors, Saturday, June 13, Incline Village, NV
  • Hip Hop, Wednesday, July 1, New York City
  • Fruits & Vegetables, Friday, July 17, Charleston, WV
  • Ruth Asawa, Thursday, Aug. 13, San Francisco
  • Thank You, Friday, Aug. 21, Hartford, CT
  • 19th Amendment: Women Vote, Wednesday, Aug. 26, Seneca Falls, NY
  • Mayflower in Plymouth Harbor, Thursday, Sept. 17, Plymouth, MA

USPS is following social distancing guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health departments to determine if the dedication ceremonies will be held.

The ability to hold a ceremony will depend on the federal, state and local health guidelines in place at the time.

Most 2020 stamps were announced last October.
