Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.78 percent during the week ending Feb. 14, an uptick from one week earlier, when the rating was 97.76 percent.
Six of the Postal Service’s seven areas saw their overall numbers decline slightly. The exception: Eastern, which ranked second with a rating of 98.01 percent, an improvement of .02 percent from one week earlier.
Many of the 67 districts experienced slight declines, too.
Some exceptions include Long Island and Lakeland, which ranked 24th and 25th with identical scores of 98.12 percent, an improvement of .38 percent for each; and No. 33-ranked Gulf Atlantic, where the rating was 97.84 percent, an improvement of .60 percent from one week earlier.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
