USPS is helping customers meet their holiday needs, PMG Megan J. Brennan told radio listeners across the nation this week.

During a series of interviews, the PMG said the organization will deliver 15 billion pieces of mail this holiday season, including 850 million packages.

“The Postal Service is uniquely positioned to deliver the holidays — whether it’s at the doorstep, the neighborhood Post Office or online at usps.com,” Brennan told WPHT-AM in Philadelphia.

The PMG said the Postal Service has added new equipment in plants, leased more than 1,000 additional vehicles and expanded Sunday package deliveries in select areas.

Brennan also discussed holiday mailing deadlines, seasonal stamps and Informed Delivery.

“Informed Delivery provides a digital preview of the mail and packages that will be delivered that day,” the PMG told WIBW-AM in Topeka, KS. She encouraged customers to sign up at informeddelivery.com.

Employees are proud to deliver the holidays, Brennan said.

“The dedicated men and women of the Postal Service work hard every day to serve their customers,” she said. “They take great pride in the communities they serve.”
