Do you know? A recent stamp that marks a state’s anniversary will be a clue on the “Jeopardy!” episode that is scheduled to air Friday, Nov. 3.

Think you know which stamp will be featured? Tune in to find out. Check local listings for times and stations.

Pre-approved. The Postal Service is reminding employees that all Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) events, including kickoff activities, must be reviewed and approved by the USPS Ethics Office before they occur.

CFC organizers should email the Ethics Office or call 202-268-6346 to receive approval to host their events.

Other changes this campaign season include the elimination of cash donations.

Employees with questions should email the USPS CFC team.

Fall back. Daylight saving time will end Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 a.m.

In areas where the change is observed, most people will “fall back” and set their clocks back one hour at bedtime Nov. 4.

Standard time will be in effect until March 11, 2018, when daylight saving time will resume.

Most valuable mailpiece. Remember Will Erickson, the 7-year-old Houston Astros fan who mailed a letter to the team’s general manager last year, imploring him not to trade promising outfielder George Springer?

When Springer heard about the note, he invited Will and his family to visit the Astros’ clubhouse.

Good thing the boss listened to Will’s plea: This week, Springer helped deliver Houston its first World Series championship, leading the team as the series’ most valuable player.

Never underestimate the power of mail.
