The reviews are in, and there’s good news for five Post Offices.
Three offices in Georgia (Hazlehurst, Vidalia and Toccoa) and two in Illinois (Antioch and Marengo) have each achieved 50 or more consecutive perfect scores through the USPS Retail Customer Experience service evaluation.
This makes these offices the nation’s five highest-rated.
They are among 8,000 offices that are rated by “mystery shoppers” to ensure USPS provides excellent customer service.
The shoppers evaluate specific criteria, including wait times, employee courtesy, lobby appearance and the quantity of products and supplies.
Retail and Customer Service Operations VP Kelly Sigmon recently visited the Georgia offices to thank employees.
“You always find a way to make sure that our customers are No. 1,” Sigmon told employees in Hazlehurst, the top-ranked office with 57 perfect scores.
In Toccoa, Sigmon told employees their success reflects their commitment to service.
“You are the face that customers see first. As sales associates, you serve as ‘solution specialists’ for our customers by helping them fulfill their postal needs on a daily basis,” she said.
Employees also were praised in Vidalia, where Postmaster J.T. Warnock said successful retail transactions require a team effort.
Sigmon plans to visit the Illinois offices in February.
