The Postal Service has released the fifth image from an upcoming pane of stamps commemorating the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary.
The stamp highlights Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. The park, honeycombed with more than 300 limestone caves, features ancient sea ledges, deep rocky canyons and flowering cactuses.
The 16 stamps on the pane are being revealed in alphabetical order in April.
Acadia National Park, Arches National Park, Assateague Island National Seashore and Bandelier National Monument stamp images have been released so far.
The full pane will be dedicated June 2 at the World Stamp Show in New York City.
Individuals are asked to spread the news on social media using the hashtags #NPSStamps, #FindYourPark and #NPS100.
