An organization that works with the Postal Service to strengthen the mailing industry has a new leader.
The Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) recently elected Erv Drewek industry chair. He will serve a two-year term and lead MTAC alongside Consumer and Industry Affairs VP Jim Nemec, who serves as postal chair.
MTAC provides technical guidance and recommendations to improve mail-related products and services. The organization’s priorities this year include improving the way businesses enter their mail into the postal network.
“There are many opportunities to grow the mailing industry, and I look forward to continuing to work with MTAC to harness innovative technology for mutual benefit for all,” Drewek said.
Drewek, who has 25 years of experience in the mailing industry, is postal affairs manager for Hudson, OH-based Graphic Communications, which is owned by the Veritiv distributions company.
He recently completed a two-year term as MTAC’s industry vice chair.
