The Postal Service and talk show host Rachael Ray have joined forces again, delivering a holiday home makeover for a Connecticut military family.
Adam Lynch, his wife and two young sons have moved across the nation for years while he served in the Air Force. After so much moving, the family’s holiday décor was limited to a wreath and a Nativity set.
On Ray’s Dec. 4 episode, she sent architect John Gidding to help the Lynches decorate their home for their first Christmas together.
The USPS-sponsored segment shows Gidding using real-time delivery notifications to track a package containing new decorations, which Hartford, CT, Letter Carrier Tamara King delivers.
The package-tracking service is “really cool,” Gidding says.
Last week, USPS helped Ray deliver new school supplies to a kindergarten teacher.
