Postal Service employees are being thanked for helping the Customer Connect program generate more than $2 billion in estimated annualized revenue.
“Service is the key to growth. You have demonstrated that consistent, reliable service to our customers enables that growth,” PMG Megan Brennan says in a new video message about the milestone.
Customer Connect, a partnership with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), encourages letter carriers to identify new business opportunities for the Postal Service. More than 622,000 leads have been submitted since the program began in 2003.
“We believe that Customer Connect is just scratching the surface of what carriers can do to build a 21st century Postal Service,” says NALC President Fred Rolando, who also appears in the video. “Letter carriers and the NALC are committed to this kind of innovation to better serve the evolving needs of America’s businesses and the American people.”
