The Postal Service has revealed the pane that will showcase its upcoming National Parks stamps.
The pane, previewed April 28, arranges the stamps to approximate their locations around the United States.
Alaska’s Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is in the upper left, Maine’s Acadia National Park is in the upper right, Florida and Mississippi’s Gulf Islands National Seashore is in the bottom right, and Hawaii’s Haleakalā National Park is in the bottom left.
The other stamps shown are Mount Rainier National Park (Washington state), Theodore Roosevelt National Park (North Dakota), Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park (Vermont), Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens (Washington, DC), Assateague Island National Seashore (Maryland and Virginia), Everglades National Park (Florida), Yellowstone National Park (Idaho, Montana and Wyoming) Bandelier National Monument and Carlsbad Caverns National Park (New Mexico), Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona), Arches National Park (Utah) and San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (California).
USPS previewed the stamps throughout April.
The pane will be dedicated June 2 at the World Stamp Show in New York City. The stamps commemorate the National Park Service’s upcoming 100th anniversary.
Individuals are asked to spread the news on social media using the hashtags #NPSStamps, #FindYourPark and #NPS100.
