Retail Associate Sarah Bracha was quick to lend a helping hand when she arrived at work recently in Stanford, MT, and found a highway contract route driver seriously ill and unable to deliver mail.
She rendered first aid, unloaded mail and disinfected the driver’s truck while he waited for a ride.
To ensure the mail was delivered, Bracha contacted a neighboring Post Office for assistance and arranged for a relief driver for the evening route.
Stanford Postmaster Kristina Hill commended Bracha for her compassion, as well as her careful adherence to safety and cleaning procedures.
