McReynolds meets with employees, discusses Delivering for America
Amber McReynolds, chairwoman of the USPS Board of Governors, visited Postal Service facilities in Nevada last week to meet employees and see how they are helping to transform the organization under the Delivering for America plan.
At the Boulder City Post Office, located in the state’s southern end, McReynolds spoke with employees during a daily stand-up talk, then accompanied Nicholas Parascando, a city carrier assistant, as he made his deliveries.
Later, in nearby Henderson, McReynolds met with Postmaster Greg Trinkaus and toured a facility that is being transformed into a sorting and delivery center.
“I appreciated the opportunity to meet with our employees and discuss our progress under the Delivering for America plan. Additionally, and most importantly, I was pleased I was able to thank them for the hard work they do to serve the American people,” McReynolds said.
The processing, transportation and workforce improvements in Nevada are part of the broader Delivering for America plan, a $40 billion investment aimed at modernizing and reinvigorating the organization nationwide.
Under McReynolds’ leadership, the USPS Board of Governors is overseeing the implementation of the plan.
McReynolds joined the board in 2021 and was elected chair last fall.
