The American Vistas presorted standard stamps will depict stylized, minimalist scenes of mountains and a beach for use on business mail.

These stamps have a perfect view

The release for business mailers will feature two iconic American landscapes

The Postal Service will release its new American Vistas presorted standard stamps on Friday, Feb. 21.

The stamps feature illustrations of two iconic American landscapes: mountains and a beach.

One stamp depicts a sandy shoreline at sunset, with a lone sailboat in the distance. The other is a nighttime mountain scene featuring a cabin overlooking a lake.

The stylized and minimalist scenes were created as vector illustrations, which were then turned into screen prints using three colors: yellow, blue and navy.

Shared design elements, including a horizon line, help give the stamps a sense of balance and calm.

Greg Breeding, an art director for USPS, designed the stamps using art from DKNG Studios.

The American Vistas stamps are intended for business mailers. They will be available in coils of 3,000 and 10,000 at Post Offices and usps.com.
