
Here’s when next year’s first stamps will arrive
The releases will honor Betty White, Allen Toussaint and others
The Postal Service has announced release dates for the first batch of next year’s stamps, along with the cities where dedication ceremonies will be held:
• Lunar New Year: Year of the Snake, Tuesday, Jan. 14, Boston;
• Love 2025, Friday, Jan. 17, Kutztown, PA;
• Spiral Galaxy and Star Cluster, Tuesday, Jan. 21, Big Sky, MT;
• 1794 Compass Rose, Friday, Jan. 24, Peachtree Corners, GA;
• Black Heritage: Allen Toussaint, Thursday, Jan. 30, New Orleans;
• American Vistas, Friday, Feb. 21, San Diego;
• The Appalachian Trail, Friday, Feb. 28, Dawsonville, GA;
• Freshwater Fishing Lures, Thursday, March 13, Springfield, MO;
• Vibrant Leaves, Friday, March 14, Strongsville, OH; and
• Betty White, Thursday, March 27, Los Angeles.
USPS announced its planned 2025 stamp releases in November and December.
Additional release dates will be announced later.

Application window for scholarship opens Jan. 1
The program aids nonbargaining employees
The Postal Service is accepting applications for its Centralized Funding for Development Scholarship.
The professional development scholarship is designed to financially support nonbargaining employees who seek to enroll in training, college courses, degree programs or professional certification classes.
Applications will be accepted from Wednesday, Jan. 1, through Friday, Jan. 31.
The Centralized Funding for Development page on the MyHR website has more information. Employees with questions should email the scholarship management team.
WestPac Area, MN-ND District lead in scanning
A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 96.49 percent during the week ending Dec. 13, down 0.83 percent from one week earlier.
The data was collected Dec. 18.
WestPac led the four areas with a rating of 97.48 percent, while Southern ranked last with a 95.49 percent rating.
Among the 50 districts, Minnesota-North Dakota, part of Central Area, ranked first with a 98.28 percent rating, while Tennessee, part of Southern Area, ranked last with a 91.15 percent rating.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.
