The Postal Service will release its Winter Wreath Global Forever stamp on Sept. 18 in Humble, TX.
The stamp can be used to mail a 1-ounce letter to any country where First-Class Mail International service is available. The current First-Class Mail 1-ounce international letter rate is $1.75.
The stamp can also be used for domestic mail.
The round stamp shows a softly colored winter wreath, a familiar symbol of seasonal festivities.
Two of the three previous Global holiday-themed stamps also featured wreaths, which are linked to wintertime celebrations.
Greg Breeding, an art director for USPS, used a softer color palette to create a calmer mood and gentle sense of wintertime peace for the 2026 design.
The stamp features a wreath created in 2023 by photographer Natalia Kostikova. She used artificial branches, painted the ornaments and sprayed the wreath with baking soda to simulate snow.
The Winter Wreath Global Forever stamp is available in sheets of 10 at Post Offices and on usps.com.
