Last week, Link wrapped up the holidays with a last-minute look at peak season as well as some of its milestone deliveries.
USPS marked its 3 billionth delivery of the season when Letter Carrier Dan Reed dropped off a package at a boutique in DeWitt, NY. “It’s fun to be out giving people their packages,” he told a local TV station. “They’re looking forward to you coming.”
We also examined the historical roots of Christmas and the history of holiday stamps.
The end of the year is a time to look back, and we published roundups of three of our standing columns: “Heroes” spotlighted many of the inspiring honorees of the Postmaster General Heroes’ Program in 2025; “People” shared the stories of the employees and activities that put a human face on the organization; and “Off the Clock” dove into the myriad passions Postal Service employees pursue in their off hours.
Finally, we shared the news that Dane Coleman, USPS processing operations vice president, will be leaving the organization after 40 years. His last day is Dec. 31.
