Atlantic Area VP to retire

Scott Raymond’s USPS career included several leadership roles

Scott Raymond, vice president of the Postal Service’s Atlantic Area, is retiring on Friday, June 27.

He has held the role since 2023 and has been responsible for 12 districts, 128,000 employees, 8,600 Post Offices and 35.6 million delivery points.

Prior to serving as vice president, Raymond was Atlantic Region’s senior director.

He previously held several leadership positions at USPS, including operations support manager for the former Capital Metro Area, Mid-Carolinas Processing and Distribution Center senior plant manager and Atlanta District manager.

Raymond, a U.S. Navy veteran, began his career with USPS as a mail processor in 1993.
