The holiday spirit is on display at Postal Service sites across the nation — including the office of PMG Megan J. Brennan.
The Christmas tree in the PMG’s office is decorated with Priority Mail boxes to recognize the growth of the Postal Service’s package business and help promote the USPS brand.
Elsewhere, many Post Offices are using “Peanuts”-themed decorations to promote the new stamps inspired by “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
In some offices, employees are serving customers from “Holiday Cheer” stations modeled after the one Lucy uses in the comic strip and TV specials.
The holidays also are giving USPS employees an opportunity to show off their creative talents.
For example, Retail Associate Susan Donnelly designed a snowman on skis for the Humboldt, NE, Post Office.
“I always tell [Donnelly] she’s missed her calling because she is so creative,” said Postmaster Scott Magdanz.
