Eagle marks 2 years of Delivering for America

The Eagle’s spring cover story focuses on the two-year anniversary of the Delivering for America plan.

The Postal Service has published the latest issue of The Eagle magazine and mailed it to employees’ homes.

The spring edition reports on the organization’s performance at the two-year mark of the Delivering for America plan.

Investments in automation, facilities and transportation, as well as organizational focus, operational discipline and a stabilized workforce have put USPS on an upward trajectory, the magazine reports.

Another article explains the LEADing Together program, which encourages employees to submit leads for the USPS sales team to pursue.

“Every employee plays the important role of salesperson whenever they talk with customers to promote our offerings,” Postmaster General Louis DeJoy says in the article.

In the “Change Leaders” feature, Marc McCrery, customer experience vice president, and Mike Cook, Southern Area’s customer relations director, talk about turning negative situations into positive experiences for customers.

In addition, the magazine shines a spotlight on Rochester, NY, Letter Carrier Michael Ashley, who is an advocate for organ donation.

The Eagle is available on Newsroom, a USPS online news hub.
