The National Postal Forum, the mailing and shipping industry’s largest annual conference, will be held May 21-24 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.
This year’s theme is “Delivering for America: Vision. Strategy. Action.” Postmaster General Louis DeJoy will deliver the opening address for the general session on Monday, May 22.
His remarks will focus on the Postal Service’s progress since the inception of the Delivering for America plan, and “upcoming priorities to position USPS, and its customers, well for the future,” according to the website for the forum, also known as NPF.
Several officer-led sessions will be featured at the conference, including:
• Delivering in a Crisis: National Infrastructure and USPS, with DeJoy; Steve Monteith, chief customer and marketing officer; and Pritha Mehra, chief information officer.
• Transforming the Customer Shipping Experience, with Mehra and Steve Dearing, acting chief data and analytics officer.
• From the Dock to the Door: Beyond Delivery, with Dr. Josh Colin, chief retail and delivery officer; and Angela Curtis, delivery operations vice president.
A Tuesday keynote address, “Implementing the Transformation at USPS,” will be led by several officers, and Wednesday will feature a first-ever town hall-style meeting with the Postmaster General.
USPS certification courses in mail design, direct mail marketing and mail center management will also be offered.
The National Postal Forum is a not-for-profit educational corporation founded in 1968 to ensure open lines of communication between USPS and business customers.
