Huckels didn’t buckle

Louisville, OH, Letter Carrier Aaron Huckels

Letter Carrier Aaron Huckels was delivering on his route in Louisville, OH, when he noticed a customer lying beside her car.

The woman, who recently had surgery, had fallen out of her vehicle.

Before the postal employee happened upon the scene, a friend of the woman had tried to lift her to no avail. Huckels assisted the man, and together they carried her into her house to await medical attention.

The man was grateful for the carrier’s help, saying both he and the woman are senior citizens, and he never could have lifted her himself.

Huckels “saved the day,” the man said.
