Pound pals Keira and Kala — the two dogs who were saved from scheduled euthanasia after a photo of them hugging in a shelter went viral — have found new homes with Tucker, GA, Letter Carrier Wendy Newman.
Newman and her best friend and roommate Pam Cody adopted the pair after learning the cuddly canines needed a permanent home.
“It was love at first sight,” Newman told People magazine last week after meeting Keira and Kala.
“They play nonstop,” Newman said. “And they still hug!”
