Scanning scorecard

National performance remains consistent

Scanning
Timely and accurate scanning is a basic customer requirement.

The Postal Service averaged a 96.84 percent scanning rating during the week ending Nov. 6, virtually unchanged from one week earlier.

Western, with a rating of 97.38 percent, continued to lead the areas. Eastern (96.96 percent) rose one spot to take second, while Capital Metro (96.84 percent) finished third.

Among the districts, Western’s Portland District (97.78 percent) again finished first, Pacific’s Sierra Coastal District (97.77 percent) climbed seven spots to claim second and Western’s Northland District (97.74 percent) finished third.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu bar to select DES 2.
