Aaron Tromsness, the officer in charge at the Galena, KS, Post Office, recently had a special delivery to ensure:
His pregnant wife, Lindsey, had gone into labor with their fourth child, and as Aaron drove her to a hospital, they realized they would not make it there before she gave birth.
Aaron immediately stopped on the side of a highway, called 911 and followed the dispatcher’s instructions, helping Lindsey safely deliver a boy, Chase Ezekiel, whom they call Zeke.
Moments after Aaron clamped the umbilical cord with a shoestring, paramedics arrived and took Lindsey and Zeke to the hospital.
After a brief stay, they were cleared to return home.
