Postal Service employees and contractors must complete two mandatory cybersecurity courses by April 11.
Both courses provide instruction on how to protect critical Postal Service data from online threats.
Here’s an overview:
• CyberSafe Fundamentals. This course provides training needed to adhere to cybersecurity practices and policy for the protection of USPS electronic information.
• CyberSafe Fundamentals With Applying Data Security. This course also provides training for protecting USPS electronic information, as well as best practices for handling sensitive and sensitive-enhanced information.
The courses are available on the HERO platform.
Employees and contractors who do not complete the courses by the deadline will have only limited ACE system access until both courses are completed.
