Janice Walker joined the Postal Service this week as vice president, Corporate Communications. She will lead all external and internal communications efforts, including informing employees about important USPS initiatives.
“I’m excited to join USPS and engage with our employees as we all work together to take the Postal Service to the next level,” said Walker.
Walker reports to PMG Megan Brennan. She succeeded Mississippi District Manager Elizabeth Johnson, who served as acting vice president, Corporate Communications.
Previously, Walker had a 20-year career with Fannie Mae, including roles as vice president of news and public affairs and director of regional communications.
She also served as vice president of corporate communications for First Marblehead Corp., a financial services firm focused on the student loan market, and she led her own public relations firm.
