The Postal Service has received top marks for turning an experience that’s often intimidating — the job interview — into a positive one.
Seventy percent of USPS job applicants have a positive interview experience, according to new research by the employment website Glassdoor.
The study ranks employers based on “interview experience” ratings that job applicants shared during the previous year. The Postal Service ranked highest among all federal agencies.
Employers that received the highest interview rankings also tended to have average or above-average employee satisfaction, Glassdoor reported.
“So it seems the interview process is an early glimpse of what it could really be like to work there,” Glassdoor spokesman Scott Dobroski told The Boston Globe.
