Grand Rapids, MI, City Carrier Assistant Brittany Batt was recently delivering mail when she spotted a child in distress.
Batt stopped to check on the boy, who was lying on the ground near a driveway — bleeding and shaking.
The Postal Service employee immediately called 911 and comforted the child, as did a customer who stopped to help, too, a few minutes later.
Emergency responders soon arrived to evaluate the boy, who has special needs and was experiencing a seizure.
