Retail Associate Lakresha Londow had grown accustomed to friendly exchanges with a customer who visited the Dodge, TX, Post Office daily to pick up his mail.
She was concerned, then, when she recently noticed that he hadn’t stopped by in several days, and she didn’t think he had any family members in the area who would notice that something could be wrong.
Londow called the local sheriff’s office. A deputy who checked on the man at his residence discovered that he had died.
Local Postmaster Petra Munson said that Londow is known for her caring nature, and many Dodge residents thanked her for making the call.
