New milestone

Informed Delivery continues growth

Informed Delivery
Informed Delivery, one of several USPS offerings available on mobile devices, allows users to digitally preview their incoming mail and manage their packages.

Informed Delivery now has 8.3 million subscribers.

The free feature, which the Postal Service rolled out nationally last year, allows users to digitally preview their incoming mail and manage their packages from computers, tablets and mobile devices.

USPS is encouraging employees to help continue the growth.

“Every Postal Service employee can help grow Informed Delivery,” said Product Innovation Vice President Gary Reblin. “We encourage all employees to sign up for the feature. More importantly, tell customers about the benefits of using it.”

Consumers give Informed Delivery high marks. In a recent survey, 95 percent of users said they are “satisfied or very satisfied” with the feature.

One fan: Chris Lyons, publisher of Target Marketing, an industry trade publication that recently praised Informed Delivery. “As a consumer of Informed Delivery, I love it — it is the one email I open every day religiously,” Lyons wrote.

You can sign up at informeddelivery.usps.com. Sign-up is voluntary and must be completed off the clock.
