A new USPS video aims to educate employees about ethical guidelines for workplace gift exchanges.

The Postal Service is providing employees with an overview of ethical workplace practices through “Delivering Ethics,” a series of instructional videos on Blue.

The first segment, Gifts,” addresses the rules surrounding gift giving, including exchanges between customers and employees and among co-workers.

The video shows how the USPS Ethics Office in Washington, DC, provides guidance to employees, including bargaining workers. Several examples of acceptable — and non-permissible — gifts are explained.

The video also reminds employees to call the USPS Ethics Office at 202-268-6346 with any questions about gift exchanges or other ethics matters.

Additional information on “Delivering Ethics” is included in an introductory video available on Blue.
