When a postal customer in Manchester, NH, sitting on a lawn mower on a recent day didn’t respond to a wave and greeting from Letter Carrier Lisa Melancon, she took a closer look and noticed signs of distress. She knew that a retired nurse was at home across the street and sought out her help.
