Twenty USPS managers and supervisors are advancing to the next round of competition in the Engagement Leader of the Year Awards.
In the latest round, the Postal Service’s seven areas and all vice presidents at USPS headquarters were each invited to choose leaders that meet the award criteria, which focus on fostering employee engagement.
Area and headquarters selection committees reviewed the nominations and chose the 20 recipients, who will each be recognized with a crystal award and a ceremony in their honor.
“These 20 leaders are some of the most engaging leaders in the Postal Service,” said Employee Engagement Executive Director Kelvin Williams. “Each one inspires their employees to feel more involved, enthused and committed to improving their workplace environments.”
The area and headquarters leaders will now move to the next round of the competition, in which the Executive Leadership Team will choose 10 finalists.
The competition will conclude in January with a national Engagement Leader of the Year Award.
