Jason Queirolo’s recent sunny afternoon at a Seattle area lake with his family was interrupted by the sight of a body floating 30 feet from the shore.
The Maple Valley, WA, retail associate rushed into the water and retrieved the unconscious 13-year-old girl. After he asked a bystander to call 911, he began performing CPR.
Her pulse returned as emergency responders arrived five minutes later.
Medics took over and transported the girl to a hospital, where she was expected to recover.
