Scanning scorecard

Western, Dakotas still lead the way

Scanning

The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.52 percent during the week ending Aug. 19, up from the previous week.

Thirty-nine districts and four areas met or exceeded the national average.

Dakotas (98.38 percent) led the districts for the 11th consecutive week, while Western (97.75 percent) topped the areas for the fifth week in a row.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually.

To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the menu on the left side to select “Scanning” and then “DES 2 — Scan Performance” from the drop-down options.
