If you’re planning your retirement, the Postal Service encourages you to remember the three Rs — review, rethink and remain.
- Review. If you haven’t taken a good look at your Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) retirement account recently, now is a good time to review it. You should also review your TSP account throughout the year.
- Rethink. Throughout your career, pay attention to how much you’re saving. Also, consider the way your account is invested and how long you have until retirement.
- Remain. There’s no need to move your money when you leave the Postal Service. The TSP keeps things affordable and simple. Staying with TSP means you can continue to enjoy its low administrative costs, change your investment mix and transfer eligible money into your account.
