When Marshfield, WI, Letter Carrier Sara Hauck was delivering mail recently and a longtime customer was not sitting in her usual chair, Hauck suspected something was wrong. She found the woman unresponsive on her kitchen floor and called 911. The customer was briefly hospitalized for low blood sugar and injuries sustained in the fall. In a letter to the Postmaster, a family member wrote that “we can’t express how much appreciation we have for our mail lady.”
