Scanning scorecard

Eastern finishes first among areas

Scanning

The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.47 percent during the week ending July 15, identical to the previous week.

Forty-one districts and three areas met or exceeded the national average. Dakotas (98.47 percent) led the districts for the sixth consecutive week, while Eastern (97.63 percent) climbed one spot to finish first among the areas.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and other mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and use the Dashboards menu on the left side to select “DES 2 – Scan Performance.”
