The World Stamp Show-NY 2016, the highly anticipated event that occurs in the United States only once a decade, opens May 28 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
USPS will host seven stamp dedications during the eight-day showcase that attracts stamp collectors and dealers, philatelic organizations and postal agencies from around the world.

May 29 the Repeal of the Stamp Act 1766 stamp dedication commemorates the 250th anniversary of its namesake.
The Memorial Day Honoring Extraordinary Heroism: The Service Cross Medals stamp dedication honors the Army Distinguished Service Cross, the Navy Cross for the Navy and Marine Corps, the Air Force Cross and the Coast Guard Cross.
The Views of Our Planets stamp pane, featuring stunning views of the eight planets, will be dedicated May 31, along with the Pluto — Explored! stamp sheet, celebrating the 2015 exploration of Pluto.
On June 1 the Classics Forever stamp pane will be dedicated.
PMG Megan J. Brennan will dedicate the National Parks stamp pane June 2. The Colorful Celebrations stamp booklet will be dedicated the following day, June 3.
